Advocacy Series: Current Issues: Financial Aid & the FAFSA

We're excited to see you all at our second Advocacy Series webinar of the year on November 19 from 11:00am - 12:00pm. We’ll be hosting three professionals from the financial aid space to answer questions about their experiences with the New FAFSA and the current financial aid landscape. The more we know about what’s currently happening, the better we can advocate for the changes we’d like to see!

Theresa Shaklee, Student Portal Coordinator with the Oklahoma College Assistance Program
Sharisse Evans, Financial Aid Counselor at Newman University

The advocacy series features four webinars designed to share more about what advocacy is and why it’s important, how to be effective advocates for our profession and our students and how to get involved. Participants attending three of the four sessions earn an Advocacy certificate! This is the second session of this year's series. The next twp will occur in January and March.
