Registration for GPACAC 2025 Pre-Conference: Building Inclusive Teams

Everyone wants to be part of something bigger. All learners deserve to feel included and connected to others. It’s an innate desire of ours. This desire for inclusivity has even led some colleges to offer essay prompts asking students about how and why they join and create inclusive spaces and communities on their campus. 

This pre-conference opportunity aims to encourage and empower GPACAC members to consider identity, power, privilege and best practices for greater inclusivity in all of our works. Through three distinct modules, we will focus on student facing efforts, identity work (individual and collective), and implementation of collaboratively curated best practices. Activities will include: 

• GPACAC Panel 
• Gallery Walk of Best Practices 
• Focused Identity Work

This Pre-Conference Session is hosted by our Conference Keynote Speaker, Will Torres; GPACAC Inclusion, Access, and Success (IAS) Committee Chair, Jerome Bennett; and IAS Committee Member, Alyssa Myrick!

This session will run from 1:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9th, prior to the start of Conference.  If the description below resonates with you, we hope you will consider joining us early for this amazing opportunity to build more inclusive communities for our students and colleagues.
